This is quite dodgy footage that I took on our boat-based whale watching trip out of Kleinbaai, in the Walker Bay area, with Marine Dynamics. It was very windy (as you can see and hear), and I was on the topmost viewing platform of the boat. It does, I hope, give you an idea of the scale of the beautiful southern right whales that visit the shores of the Western Cape during June to November.
