Whale watching from a boat in False Bay

During Tony’s period of planned maintenance we took a whale watching trip in False Bay with Simon’s Town Boat Company. What was it like? Pretty amazing. I’ll post some photos later. Here’s a short video clip showing the front of the whale watching boat (and whale watchers), and a couple of southern right whales so close we could practically smell their breath.

It was a bit of a swelly day, so the boat moved up and down quite a lot. (A partial excuse for my poor camera work.)
