Last time we saw Slangkop lighthouse, she was having a face lift. The scaffolding is off now. She stands at the southernmost end of Kommetjie, overlooking the Atlantic ocean, and is the tallest cast iron lighthouse in South Africa, completed in 1919. In the foreground of this picture is Die Kom.
