The view of Table Mountain from Lagoon Beach in Milnerton is arresting. It feels astonishingly close, and I love the way it surprises you as you walk towards the lagoon mouth. Also, from here, Table Bay actually feels like a bay – which it doesn’t often, with its shallow mouth and strange shape on maps.
