Weekend dive plans
No diving
I have been out a few times this week and the water is very clean south of Millers Point. We had better than 10 metre visibility at Partridge Point yesterday, and it’s not too shabby closer to Simon’s Town.
The forecast is certainly the right one for a weekend of good diving, however the boat requires some deck maintenance (a new tank rack and new fuel hoses) best done in sunny warm conditions, neither of which we have had in recent weeks. If you’re going to get in the water, Saturday looks like the better day – there’s a biggish, long period swell on Sunday that will make things quite surgy.
