Hi divers
Weekend diving
The weather looks marginal, so we’re going to give it a skip.
Conditions report
Visibility in False Bay is lovely at the moment, and we have enjoyed the great conditions with several launches this week. Surface conditions have been a bit challenging as the weather man has failed to distinguish himself in the accuracy of his wind strength forecasts, so I don’t have any photos taken on the boat!
Please enjoy, instead, this photo of one of our resident Western Leopard Toads, poised to start the August breeding season.

Unfortunately Cape Town weather varies on average on a seven day cycle (it’s true!), so when we get stuck with dodgy weekend weather, we’re often stuck with it for a few weeks in a row. The weekend sees a large swell arriving (tomorrow), and some inclement winds, so I’m going to stay dry and nurse my cold.
On the upside, the weather seems to slowly be warming, the days are getting longer, and we’re going to be enjoying beautiful viz and warm topside conditions in the weeks to come (hold thumbs)!
